Exams are over but there are still tons of projects to do...

I've been watching this show 金石良缘 for the past few days,
I managed to watch the last episode of this drama for about 4-5 times.
That's abit crazy but each time i watch, it stir up different emotions in me.

Let me briefly say about certain things in the drama.
There is this girl who did a lot of bad things, she even abort her own baby that's about 4-5 months old. Her brother was so angry at her that he said things like 'i don't want this sister of you'. He refused to answer her calls too. In the end, the girl died because of excessive drinking of alcohol and eating of medicine.

Personally, i don't like sad endings. After watching the first time, i keep thinking that it would be better if the girl don't die. I keep thinking that there should be other way out instead of dying.

The second and third time i watch, i was very angry with the brother. All along to me, i think family should be a place whereby we receive protection and also a place that accepts me. Thus i was angry that the brother didn't accept the sister. I think that the brother should help the sister and pull her up at that stage. I shared to my mum and my sister about what i thought. And my sister replied me saying that we are all human, we all have emotions. The brother in the story had emotions too, at that moment, he was too angry. Therefore it is understandable that he did that. At that point of time, i disagree. I held on to what I believe.

However during the fourth time i watch, God input different kind of thoughts in me. I realise that i'm veyr stuck up in my mindset, i think that i can seek forgiveness and acceptance from my family. However I realise that the place whereby we recieve protection and total acceptance is not from our family, but from God. I ponder through over this. I think it's so true that we as human, we have limitations. No matter how much we say we love someone, there's still a limit to it. We can't totally accept someone, esp when the person did alot of bad things towards you. The one person who can do that, who can love us unconditionally is God. Sometimes when we did something wrong, we yearn for forgiveness and acceptance, we search very hard for it. But do you know God promised us forgiveness and acceptance anytime when we decide to turn to Him? When we decide to repent and turn to Him? His hands are always wide open waiting for us.

I'm so overwhelm by God's love. Seriously, the acceptance and forgiveness we need cannot be found anywhere else but from Jesus alone. If you try to find acceptance and forgiveness from human beings (even your family), you will be very dissappointed.

I saw this passage on jenny's blog,

I think it's super touching.
In the show, the mum said something like:
'she chose the path herself, thus she have to bear the consequences it herself'
Indeed, God give us freewill to decide but instead of saying that we have to bear the consequences it ourself..
God says He will be there with us, He will be there walking by our side..
He love us unconditionally and His arms are always wide open for us.

YAY~ i'm back.

Let's go back to the song. HEE.
I've been listening to this song quite often and each time i listen,
it spoke different things to me.

1) Pray because i know i need.
Isn't it so true? Sometimes we thought we could do it ourselves,
but the truth is we need God.
It's not about feeling whether you need it or not
but is about KNOWING you need God, thus you need to pray.
Because praying = relying on God.

2) God's concern is of utmost importance to me
I want to do what God wants me to do, not what i want to do.
I want to do what is important to God.
It reminded me about another song
'Break my heart for what breaks Yours, everything I have for Your kingdom cause'

3) I need Your love and You love me more than anyone else
AMEN! I think this touched me alot!
The King of kings and Lord of lords love me more than anyone else... awwww

4) 所需要的力量你天天賜給我
I think chinese words has it's awesomeness in it.
If you know this word '賜', it is often used in those dynasty shows.
This word is only used by kings or those who have great power.
They will use this word when they wanna bless someone with stuff.
And often they will only do that to those who they love
or did something good for him or the kingdom.
(Usually more often when someone did something that make him happy)
And most importantly, whether they bless or not actually depends on their mood.
Meaning is not regular.

However in this case,
it says God will bless us with the strength we need everyday!
Isn't it cool?
Not only He decide to bless us with strength,
but He promised to bless us everyday.
Unlike the kings deciding on their mood,
God is consistent and unconditional !

My life is quite eventful that past few weeks,
indeed God is really moulding me.
I'll share more again because i seriously don't know why am i blogging at this time when i haven't bathe and i need to reach sch tml at 8 am! roar.

Another level of discipleship lesson...

It's not just about how many coreteams, how many Cls you trained up..
It's not even about pple taking over ur role..
But it's about see lives transformed by God..
It's about seeing pple realising more abt what God wants in their life..
It's about seeing pple responding to their callings in life..
It's about seeing pple doing their best to change to be more christ-like..
It's about seeing pple being committed to serve God..

and the list goes on & on...

The process is not easy;
tiring at times, the amt of time put in, the sacrifices, the heartache, the cryings..

But yet the joy when you see the person changed, when you see the person respond..
It's really overjoyed to the extent that you know the process is all worth it.

I don't know how to explain that kind of joy but I believe anyone who went through it will be able to identify. I really enjoy whatever that i'm doing right now. I simply love serving God because i really love God and because i know God really love me! WHEE

I'm falling in love with Jesus over and over again everyday. He rocks my life!

Oki even though the idea of school starting doesn't exactly makes me super happy (the amt of work, projects and even kelly services). But still I wanna trust God that He's gonna make things work for me. hee. And MY TIMETABLE.

God i pray that my timetable will be a super good one, that i will have time for ministry, for outreach, for family and for everything! HAHA. i'm trusting You that You will bless me! God i pray for everyone in bizart 3 or about to go into bizart 3 in the near future, that You will bless them as well. I pray they will have a good timetable so that we will be able to arrange a cg timing everyweek, so that they will have time for freshmen harvest, so that they will have time for shepherdings! In Jesus name, AMEN!

I enjoy every moment with them,

CAMP

Ok ok, i'm back to blog.

Let me share more about camp..

I think for me this time round camp is indeed different. I went to the campsite one day earlier, so there wasn't like the usual feeling of going to camp (like meeting at mac with group etc)

I realised one very important thing is that camp is not about the environment, the things we do, the place we stay but it's about God! It's like even though this camp is not like the super duper good youth camp (with great environment etc), but yet this was a super duper good camp because of God's tangible presence!

Even though the temperature is so hot that i think it hit 40degrees, even though u are sweating like mad, even though pple around you are so stinky and sticky, even though you can't see the lyrics, even though you can't really see or hear the worship team but yet everyone is focusing on worshiping God. It make me really understand from my heart what it means by saying 'A camp can have everything done nicely, but w/o God visiting, it's a failure. But a camp without everything but God visited, it's a success!'

as for my learning and application, can go to bizart 3's blog or ask me personally! =)

OK i'm here to blog!

Just some updates about me..
for the past few weeks, i had been very busy.
And i'm officially broke. (so those who are still owe me $$, please be kind! HAHA.)
I had been very busy, meeting my cg everyday, settling stuff here and there.
But still it's fruitful!

hmmm..
I just wanna say i really LOVE and ENJOY my cg alot!
I think they are really a bunch of very fun people.
I meet them everyday and i'm not sick of it at all. HAHA.
Even though we have been in the same group for only a month,
but it seems like we have been together for very long
(maybe due to the fact that we meet everyday)

HOLIDAYS

EXAMS ARE OVER!

ok i'm late by a day. but still it's holidays!
and holiday means lots of meet-ups, gatherings and more time for ministry!

The first day of my holiday was expensive but shiok.
I brought Sergio to play at the arcade,
my mum bought me a new bag =)
after lunch (late lunch).
I went to SPA.
It's super SHIOK.
I had strawberry shrub, soak in water with rose petals,
took a bath and full body massage.
It was super comfortable that i fell asleep during the massage.
The ambience was so romantic. HAHA
but the price is crazy too. It cost hundred plus i think.

ok, i don't know what else to say already. lol

i'm looking forward to the exciting yet abit scary holidays~

coming up next is just acia, dragonboat, class chalet, qts with cg, meet up with ball...

I'm 3 years old!

3 years ago on this particular day i accepted Jesus into my life.
At that point of time, i didn't expect things to change much.
But i was wrong, Jesus came and my life was never the same again.

I still vividly remember my 2nd year spiritual bday was spend at my hse with denise's dmm. Ever since then, there were many happenings in my life. I transferred from youth to tertiary, i went through a very tough patch in my life, i went into bizart, joined jen's dmm, i became a CL, led bizart 3a, make many mistakes, had many problems. Many people who came and went out of my life.

As i look back and reflect, i'm really very thankful to God. Thankful for His perfect plan, for Him understanding me from the inside out. Every single thing that happened to me was indeed His perfect plan, He knows me best and wants the best for me. I grew alot and learn alot. Even though up till now there are still many things that i have not fully overcomed, but with Christ, it will be possible!

oh! and thanks to that few pple who remember this special day.
Even though it's a day between me and God, but still it's very sweeettttt to know that pple actually remember it! hee =D

HELLO! 这是我第一次用华文update 我的 blog！

最近真的发生好多事，我都不知要从哪里说起。真的是尽在不言中。
前几天我刚刚庆祝了圣诞节，这已经是我第三年在希望教会过圣诞节了。
不知不觉中，我以认识主要将近三年了。
时间真的过的好快。。。
有时我会想如果当初我没有接受主，现在的我会是怎样?
我想我应该会过个平平安安的生活吧，应该还会像当初一样疯狂追着明星。。。
我好庆幸我认识主，虽然生活中有起起落落但主给的爱能够包容一切。

我发现认识主以来我的生活真的是很精彩
2008 年也不例外
好多人生中的第一次都发生在2008 年里。。
我下次在把我2008的第一次post上网！

最近我真的觉得人好可怕。。
有些我一直以为我认识以及了解的人突然间变的好不一样，
他们变得好可怕。或许我一开始就根本没认识过他们。
我真的真的好失望
我是那么的信任他们啊
或许这就是人性吧。

我好想好想恨他们，好像不要去理他们。
如果是以前的我，我一定会很讨厌他们。
我会到处去说他们的坏话，我会不去管他们，离他们远远的。。
但是我已经不是当年的吴月婷了。
虽然我还是很想逃但我知道我不会。
因为我知道我没资格，我也是个罪人。。
而且主爱他们，我相信有一天他们会领悟的！

说说别的吧。。。
我最近领悟到一个道理，有些事情是勉强不来的。
就好像我常常都在羡慕别人的友情，
常常希望我也会有像他们一样的友谊
所以我会付出很多很多，做很多很多事。
但我渐渐发现我根本就是徒劳无功
有时候我会好生气，为设么别人什么东西都不用做但他却有那样的友情？
为设么我做了那么多却没有办法？
到最后我发现，无论我做什么都没有用的。
因为这些事是勉强不来的。。
我永远都会像个过路客，进不了他们的生活。
永远当个配角，永远当个被他们遗忘的人。

但我还是幸运的。。
因为我有耶稣！
他是我永远的朋友。

i'm back to blog.
After all the projects rushing, i'm beginning to love and hate PBLs at the same time. hahaha

I really wanna share this testimonial!!!

For those who knows me, i have been having this severe waist injuries few weeks back. It is really killing me. I went to see doctor twice and they can't do anything about it, all they say is don't walk too much, rest more. But as you know, being a student, i have to walk. The pain is really so unbearable that i have to hold my waist while sitting down or standing up, hold my waist while walking.

However during one of the training class with peter troung, he actually had a mini healing rally and i went up to be prayed for. I remember during praying, i can really feel the pain moving from my waist to the front part of my body and moving out. But at that moment, i actually doubted God and the pain came back. I realise it and i repent and continue praying. After the prayers, the pain is still vividly there but not so painful as before.

The amazing thing is the next day after i woke up, the familiar pain is gone! PRAISE GOD! and up till now, the pain did not come back at all. Tell me, if this is not God den it's who?! The doctors had actually diagnose that it will take a very long time to heal and even if so, it will not be completely healed but yet God is able to do so! MY GOD IS COOL!

I just wanna say...

I LOVE MY CAREGROUP BIZART 3A!

Trust God

I think God is really stretching me.
There's so many things happening and it's like never ending.
Things that i don't know how to handle.
Sometimes i feel so inadequate...
But like what the sermon says 'Trust in God's sovereignty in supporting us!'
I should stop looking at myself but look towards God.
I should stop accumulating the burdens on my shoulders but lifting them up to God.

Men will definitely fail us (That's very true because i just experienced it for myself)
but God will never ever fail us.
So we should actually Trust God, Love Men.
Because when we do that, it doesn't really matters when Men failed us here and there.

Rejoice even in bad circumstances/situations!
God is always good!
Serve God with joy =D

PS: I'm super hungry now and i can hear my stomach grumbling.

I think i'm really lousy in this area.

The so much effort they put in for my birthday celebrations,
Indeed they manage to sabo me. Lol.

This year was rather a very different birthday for me.

Emotions not Emotional

Hellooooo. I'm back to blog again.

Life has been quite hectic with all the projects, tests coming up.
Yesterday, something i saw actually stirred up my emotions big time.
It seems to be returning to the past.
Just as the emotions are getting more and more out of hand,
thoughts going crazy.
I decided to pray to God.
I ask God to help me.
God reminded be that
It's ok to have emotions but it's not ok to be emotional.

By nature, i'm a person filled with overwhelming emotions.
A small thing can stirred up my emotions and
create something very big out of it.
But God's word really allow me to calm down this time round.
I was really reminded that God created emotions
for us to experience Him,
not for us to dwell in the emotions and be emotional.
I decided to uphold my emotions to God.

(okie, i should be studying finance as i have a test this sat!),

I was rather impatient and easily frustrated this few days,
till the extent that i feel like scolding bad words.
Meaning this is getting real serious.

So as i was telling yanyu about this and i was saying i want to find out the root issue.
And right after that, God showed me!
Esther leow's nick caught my eyes - Hate sin, love sinner.
Gosh.

Immediately i started reflecting about my life.
Ever since i move on to tertiary, i have become very task-oriented.
I was very focus on accomplishing things.
Till i forget about the most important thing,
Love God, Love people.

I repented.
Sin is the one that i should hate,
sin is the irritating one not the people.
I want and need to grow in love for the people,
because people matters to God.

God help me to love your people like how You loved, help me to see them through Your lenses and be filled with compassion for them.

Christ-centered Christian

I must faster blog down before i'm become lazy to blog. HAHA.

Anyway on tuesday, we had nel's workers meet at jacob's place.
It was really a powerful one.
Like what everyone else says, i didn't expect much of it.
To me, it was just like another meeting.
Moreover, i wasn't that well.
But God is really a powerful God.
I was practically blow off during worship.
Whatever that i was comtemplating in my mind, God knew !
The message was clear and it woke me up.
I must be a Christ-centered Christian, not a self-centered one.
Not serving God according to what i want but serving Him according to what He want.
Supposedly nel was to teach but in the end, it became a sharing session.
It was equally powerful.

Just a step more! Do it for God.
You never know what God will pour down when you decide to let go.
Instead of chanting 'I want to let go', i'll put my focus on to God.
Trusting that God had everything planned out nicely,
and things will not go according to what I want.
I cannot force, i cannot have my way.
I can only let His will be done.

Anyway i was blog surfing and i found this 2 blog very interesting and inspiring.

the phrase “happy disciples” struck me. is it possible to be ambitious and stress-free at the same time? to be rejected yet not disillusioned? to go on scattering the seed with joy, in hope some would eventually respond?

i believe the answer is yes, yes, yes. but only if we remember what’s within our control and what’s not - and leave it rest at that. one may sow, another may water. but only God can make it grow. no need to tell him how to do his job.

Abit too slow but really wanna WELCOME SAMANTHA & YENSEE to Bizart 3!!!
Oh and SARAH converted as well!

It was really an eventful holidays.
Chionging evax, meeting people, blah blah blah
and forgetting to do my assignments. lol

Last last friday, we had our very own bizart food competition at Jacob's place.
It was really fun! I had a breakthough~ I drank bittergourd juice and ate starfruit.
There was an overflowing of contacts from my cg and they really enjoyed themselves that day. PRAISE GOD!

Then we have the DESIRES ESS!
It was fabulous and the message brought out was clear and touching.

Fastforward to last friday, we had bizart games competition!
I was one of the in-charge and it was really stress because of the sorting of teams.
I even had nightmares about it. But thank God, it turned out to be a success.
Everyone enjoyed! There was a team which is called Gorgeous Geckting & Pretty Joanne. They are so obvious in trying to bribe the gamemasters but it's the truth anyway. Haha.

By the way, I think i have a really BHB cg. Esp when da amanda is in it.

Many many many happenings till i don't know what actually happened.
hmm mind in a mess right now, another scar was made.
Sometimes i'm just so angry at myself,
why? why can't I express myself clearly?
I'm stuck again.
When things become meaningless, i guess i'm only left with God.
I'm still holding on because God is so much more important,
but feelings are real as well,
situations are tough and i have no idea how to move on.
And the worst thing is, I don't feel like doing anything to it.
I know i won't leave God, i won't stop serving Him.
But if i remain in this condition, i'll be better off dead.

I always have the urge to blog at an inappropriate timing. HAHA
I'm having my MBS mid-sem test tml and i seriously no nuts about it. LOL

Anyway an interesting conversation happen today:

4 yrs old nephew: Popo, you love me?
My mum: Yes i love you.
4 yrs old nephew: Er yi, you love me?
My sister: Yes i love you.
Me: Sergio (Nephew's name), you love me?
and he doesn't want to reply me =.=

Anyway the point is,
I realised that everyone have a longing to be loved, no matter how young or how old.
We need love in our life. That's why we have friends, get into BGR etc.
But the only kind of love that is able to fill our heart is God's love.
So start sharing now! There are alot of people out there who haven't know about God's love yet.

Being random here,
but as i was watching those donations show for sichuan, i realised it happen on 512.
And if u pronounce 512 in mandarin, it sounds like 我要爱.
I think the sichuan people not only needs donations but they need God in their life as well.

The Time has come

I don't think i'm suppose to be here now~
It's 4.30am in the morning and i'm still chionging my project but i feel like blogging.

Many things have been happening recently.
I'm scared, i'm discouraged.
But like what the sermon says today:
God will intervene in our life and situation in the right time and in the right way!
He knows our situation.
This really assured me =)

Many problems always starts with my thoughts,
leading to me becoming insecure,
being fearful,
being emotional,
having wrong attitude and actions.

We are resposible in choosing our thoughts.
This is one point in the sermon that hit me today.
It's time for me to filter my thoughts,
all along i didn't bother to do so and i don't feel like doing it.
But now, it's not about whether i feel like doing it..
It's my responsibility to do it!

Anyway, i felt really loved this week!

I'm here to blog!!!

On the 26 of april, Saturday.
My dearest cg, Engit 4 went to lau pa sat to eat!
That day our identity was school uniform! So funny lah.
After service, we decided to settle down to eat prata. This is the first time i went that shop despite walking pass it countless times. The one outside the entrance of cuppage, on your way to le meridien.
After that, we headed to Geylang for our durians!!

Anyway here comes the interesting part:
We went to stay over at chua's house after that.
I thought the whole thingy was rather divine,
it's like someone planned everything nicely!
Because we totally have no intention of overnighting,
no intention of sharing.
However, somehow we just ended up talking whole night!
It started with pq showing us some videos,
den we started talking about end times.
(You may think that we are crazy or paranoid but everything is so real and well-planned)
While we were talking, newell and joseph were actually in the living room.
So after some time, joseph came in and said ' hey, what you guys talking? Me and newell were discussing about end times'
This is so scary la! I can feel the goosebumps all over me.
However as the atmostphere becomes more and more scary, we started sharing testimonials out of no where!
And so, we talked till the next morning!
We had breakfast at my favourite fastfood restaurant, MCDONALD!!

I know God is not trying to scare all of us but to place the urgency in every of our hearts. Not only to save the lost souls out there but more importantly, the people around us. Our friends, our relatives and our families. Sometimes we get so busy with saving the lost souls out there, that we neglect about the souls around us. We forgot to be the salt and light. We forgot to bring them nearer to Christ. For many of us, we are the only Christian at home. God give us the responsibilty to bring our family and friends to know Him.

After that conversation with them, I felt burdened for some people. I sense the urgentness. All along i really want to live my life right for God, to put a smile on God's face. So i'll blog it down to remind myself! Stop procrastinating! Live ur life for God, not for yourself or others! I always thought there are actually alot of time, things can wait but now i know there is not much time left!! Poeple start doing what you ought to do! Complete CG08! Tp 100! Save your families!

I have a big family so i need to put in even more effort! I'm gonna give my best and then pray and pray and pray for God to do something. Prayer works! heehee

Ohno, i forget what else i wanted to blog.

I wanted to delete my previous post away after today's sermon.
I felt so ashamed, guilty and I began to worry how other's will look at me.
But God reminded me what He spoke during camp.
As long as I have repented, decided to change and to think differently,
God will be pleased.
I only need to have a clear conscious and right standing before God,
I don't need to mind what others will say.
'The vulgarities and toilet story' - ask me if u wanna know =)
So i decide not to delete it,
it's true that i thought and felt this way
but I realise my mistakes.
God spoke and I'm willing to change.

I went to service with a tired body, tired mind, tired spirit and tired heart.
I didn't expect much to happen during the service.
All i thought was that it will be just like any other service.
During praise and worship,
i wasn't concentrating much.
I was too tired and i wasn't expecting much.
However when Pastor Jasmine start sharing about the sermon topic today,
my heart leap. It was about Love.
As she start sharing more about it, i sense fear in my heart.
I was scared, I'm trying to hide.
Perhaps because of pride, i didn't want to touch this topic at all.
As she continue to preach, i was totally amazed.
It's like God sitting in front of me answering all my questions, doubts
which I listed down in my previous post.

All along i have been loving people with my own kind of 'love',
my own standard.
But Jesus is here to set a new standard of love.
An unconditional love,
a love that is not a fair exchange.
unreasonable, not logical and irrational.
Coming to think of it, how true can it be.
Jesus demonstrated it by dying on the cross for us.
He is willing to die for us even though we are not worthy!

So all along i have been 'wrong' when i bless people.
I bless with a wrong intention which is to please them.
I will still continue to bless
but it's because those pple matter to God and I wanna please God.
And I wanna bless because I really love them.
And the love is those unconditional love.

He love each and everyone of us,
including the Romans soldiers who nailed Him on the cross.

Again and again and again.
What's wrong and what's right? I'm no longer sure.
What to believe and to trust? I don't know.
Am i too sensitive or you are too insensitive? I have no idea.
Is that the truth or an excuse? I can't differentiate.

I'm trying and trying but i think I'm still on the wrong track.
Should i stop? I can't bear to and i can't bring myself to it.
But if i don't, i will keep getting myself hurt.

Nights and nights of tossing around in the bed.
Crying and crying.
It feels terrible to be unable to fall asleep.
I'm not exactly a thinker but i can't help to think...

Is it worth it? Not sure too.
I only know that I have this desire, a desire for something to happen.
If only the desire can be taken away...

You always say you understand.
But you sure you really do?
Because it seems that you don't.
I think only God will understand.

Maybe i'm expecting too much from you.
I thought if you want to do something,

and my motive of blessing is wrong.
Because when i try so hard to bring some stuff to bless pple,
even though i didn't bought it but it didn't come easy as well,
and the person say this
'orh, geckting don't want so she give me'
Somehow this sentence hurts.
Sometimes i keep blessing pple
and writing encouragement cards,
and then pple say
'bless too often won't have the surprise/meaning already'
Somehow this hurts as well.
When i see that the pple gets so excited
over some small stuff another person bless,
and then no reaction towards what i bless,
i feel hurt as well.
Sometimes when i work so hard
and save up just to buy a better gift for someone,
and in turn out that the person appreciate
another person's present much more,
it feels hurt.
Perhaps not everyone is a gift person like me.
Sometimes sometimes when i expect
to have presents and then i ask,
pple will say 'your rewards are great in heaven'
But i didn't expect a very expensive present,
any thing that u sincerely give is enough.

I know i know,
God says that when we give we shouldn't expect pple to reciprocate.
Our rewards are in heaven.
I know by thinking this way, i'm selfish and sorts.
But i can't help to feel dissappointed.
I need to learn, learn how to think and feel in another way.

I'm very tired, totally drained out.
I'm afraid that my heart will become harden soon.
I'm afraid that i might do silly things.
I'm afraid that i will give up...

I know that many of my questions, the answer is God.
So God help me.
Lead me out of this, guide me back, help me be an overcomer, teach me.
I'm trapped, please bring me out.
Having courage in the presence of fear,
I really want to have that.

Afterall, deep down in my heart, i still want You.
I still can't bear to let You go.
I really want to be someone that You will be proud of,
someone that pleases You,
someone that puts a smile on Your face and not dissappointment.

We had Nel's prayer meet at church office on wednesday. We were late so we missed out half of it, but Nel's sharing is equally powerful as well. I can't help but to agree with her, i keep nodding my head till it's like dropping off (being random here)!

l'll just share some of it here...

One thing that i think it's really true is that it's not how much we do but how much we know. We can strive to work hard for God, strive to win souls for God but actually we don't know much about God which loses it's purpose of serving Him. God want us to know Him more each day, not just serving Him more each day.

Matthew 22:37-39 (New International Version) 37Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'[a] 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'[b]

If you realise, Jesus did not command us to evangelise, to shepherd our sheeps, to take care of the group, to glorify Him or even to serve Him and such.

Jesus commanded us to LOVE HIM and to LOVE HIS PEOPLE.

So as we continue to know God more, to walk closer with Him, to love Him even more, the rest is just an overflow from our heart because of our love for Him. It's because we love God, that's why we serve Him. It's because we love God, that's why we read the WOG. It's because we love God, that's why we obey Him and follow His plans. It's because we love God, that's why we evangelise.

Don't get the sequence mix up as it represents alot! God did not command us to do that as it should be natural for us to do that when we have a close relationship with God.

For myself, i realise that all along i have been trying very hard to serve God but actually i'm on the wrong track. I get myself to read more of the WOG, go down to evax more, stive to regularly shepherd my sheeps, make sure that i grow in different areas. However i forget to do the most fundamental yet important task, which is to get to know Christ more and more each day, getting closer and loving Him more.

Some people on appearance they are really working very very hard for God but in fact, their relationship with God are like strangers. They stop spending quality time with God, stop getting to know more about God. God doesn't want us to work very hard for Him, God want us to know Him more. It's not that we don't work hard for God, but don't get the sequence wrongly. When your walk with God gets closer, it's so natural for you to evangelise and stuff as you will obey God and walk in His path for You.

Some people as they are in this ministry for quite some time, they will tend to stop knowing more about God. They still do their qt and such but they have stop discovering new things about Him.

Ask yourself this questions now,
Is your walk with God closer day by day? Are you knowing Him more each day? Are you loving Him more each day?

Why not next time when you read the bible, don't strive to read many chapters. See what God wants to speak to you, see what God wants you to do.

Conversion starts from yourself! Before you even go around converting others, make sure your life is on the right track. When we are following God's path for us, obeying Him, things will come naturally as well. When you know more about God's love for you, you will naturally love God more!

"Vision gives you the drive to move on, but Love gives you the strength to do it"

(God i want my walk with You to be closer each day, i want to know You more and i want to love You more!)

Easter is about God fulfilling His promise to us!

(Jesus thanks for dying on the cross to pay for our sins. I always thought to myself how come Jesus with no sins at all is willing to die on the cross, and how come out of so many types of death, He chose the most painful one. I finally know why, the answer is simple. Because He love us. This message is once again brought back into my heart, thank You Jesus.)

Ironically, i'm filled with anger at this moment as i type. Jesus help me to become more like You, help me to forgive others like how You forgive me, help me to love others like how You love me.
Guide me Lord.

I really think the Virtuous speaking church series about Gossip is so cool! It's so interesting, funny and impactful. I really learn a lot from it, can't wait to put it into use. HAHA! lol.

I'm definitely going to be fatter and fatter!

I've been indulging in alot of food this few days, my stomach is getting bigger and my wallet is getting smaller. I went to novena for steamboat buffet, burger king's breakfast, seoul garden. I will be going New York New York, swensens, 'traders' hotel buffet... My life seems to be all about food. lol. So please ask me out to exercise!

I'm moving on to tertiary in a few days time, i'm really gonna miss my caregroup alot! People like joyce, yushan, ida, shushan, jiaqi, jade, my sheeps (i'm like naming the whole cg) and the rest. They are really a bunch of very fun people to hang out with. A big 'thank you' to all of u for the video, the skit and the song! I'm really very very touched. Let's meet up often in the future as well!

Sidetrack abit, i think ida is really a very cute person. HAHA. She pay over $16 to go seoul garden to eat plain rice!

Anyway I'm quite excited for the new environment and the new people to work with! (Can't wait for the durians outing) I believe God will use all of us greatly, i'm anticipating lots of growth from God.

2nd year with God today =)

I have never regret this decision i made 2 years ago. Wanna thank God for this sister who brought me to church - yellow rabbit. Thank God for her perservance, w/o her i might not be here today.

Many ups and downs since my first spiritual birthday. In this one year, i've experienced and learn a lot. Being serious about serving God, my first time serving officially as a coreteam, first time being a shepherd, first time going mission trip, first time sharing testi on stage, first time facing so many obstacles and problems at a time, first time handling difficult people, first time facing certain problems, many many many first times. It's really a very eventful year.

Really wanna thank God for God! He is faithful to me throughout, even when I fail Him. When people fails me, God is there and I know He never fails me. Everyone will change but i know God remains the same!

Anyway, exams is round the corner again. ARGH! time to mug. AND end feb is coming soon,

So many things have been happening and the worst is, my body is giving me alot of problems. I'm really sick of saying that my stomach is pain and the most jia lat thing is that i cannot enjoy all the good food. ohmy! Chinese new year is coming, i want to eat! I want my ulcers and stomach pain to be healed ASAP! So if u happen to see my post, please take some time off to pray for me! THANKS! heehee.

anyway just being random, i seriously think that GOD IS AMAZING AND COOL! haha, He never fails to encourage me, remind me! i just love God so much! CG08 WILL BE COMPLETED.

HELLO!!!

I am here to update my blog!

Guess what? I went to watch body 19 today. I guess it's really a breakthrough for me because it's a horror movie! I really really really don't like to watch horror movie because i will be super scared and i won't be able to bathe or sleep at night! Futhermore, i feel that it's super dumb to pay $8 to watch something that will scare you. LOL. I was super reluntant to watch and was even thinking of ways to persuade my sheep to watch another show. However, God reminded me about LOVE, to love people also means to step out of ur comfort zone and do something u don't like to do. So in the end, i still went to watch. Even though i am still very scared, i still won't be able to sleep tonight but at least, i manage to have a breakthrough =) [People who already watch this show might not think it's scary but to me, it is very scary okie!]

Anyway i would like to take this chance to affirm someone and that person is...

YUSHAN AKA BROLLY!!!

I really wanna thank God for placing this sister in my life. She never fails to encourage me! She is the one who actually remember that my project's datelines are nearing soon and will constantly ask me about it, sometimes she will just drop some encouraging words. When things happen, she will never fail to be there to encourage me. I like the way both of us always encourages each other (be in for our sheeps, studies, etc) and the times when we chat online, both equally desperate for growth! Even though i still don't know much about her (other than her sheeps or the group all that), but i really want to know her more! HAHA. I really enjoy her presence! Yushan, jiayou! Faster grow okie? rmb what i say hor! =)

I have been rather unfaithful in updating my blog. Want to blog down everything i learn because i really have short-term memory, I forget things easily. But.....I'M TOO LAZY.

I NEED DISCIPLINE!

Anyway, today was the TP - east pple's celebration/outing day. Went yiqin's house to eat spaghetti, ice-skating and watch Ratatouille. (Thanks to all that came, I had fun! And thank God for aloy and jeslin who planned everything :D)

The show wasn't as great as I expected it to be. Expected something more funny but still the show was good. Something that i really like about the rat was when it said ' Change is nature'. I think it's really true. We can't stay like this forever and be confine with whatever we have. We need to make the decision to change.

I really love God a lot. The way He drop things in our heart, the way He puts things for us to learn everywhere. Even when we are having fun, we still learn something from God. Isn't that wonderful?

Will update more when my brains are clearer.

Currently, i am reading the book 'Battlefield of the mind'. It is really a good book. Learn lots from that, shall update what i learn. DISCIPLINE HERE I COME! HAHAHA

Amazing God

I was working for two days at suntec to be the ursher for an event called GCA. Basically, my job is to stand. lol. Seriously, it was soooooo tiring. However, one thing that I gain from the entire two days is perseverance. Right from the first after two hours of standing, i feel like giving up already. But Thank God, i survive! haha.

Went to watch Evan Almighty on friday. Didn't expect much from that movie but it turn out to be great. God really struck me with a few points from that movie. The follow are a few:

1) When the whole world turn against me, even my own family leaving me, will I still continue to do what God ask me to do? (Evan continue to build the ark even when his family left him.)
2) Every single situation that happens in my life, God put it because He loves me. Even though sometimes the situation doesn't seems so.
3) The way we think is different from how God thinks, so we should just follow His way as His plan never fails us.
4) Having faith till the very end, trusting God in His promises for us.

Wow! God really can work in different ways. He reminded me many things through the movie. One most important thingy God show me is that, I was the one who ask for growth. And that's why He gave me problems.

Saturday service was great. I was quite sickly and I practically used up all my energy and strength during praise and worship. However, the WOG is so great. Pastor Jeff really preach a very important factor that many of us lack. The action point. Many people always say many things but never put into action. They expect God to move when they did nothing. Usually, they will go back and ask God why is there no growth (in what they ask for), they forget the fact that they nothing. So how did u expect things to happen?!

God, i really want to put whatever i said into actions. No empty promises! NONO! CGO8 will be completed! We shall be the generation that impacts!

To that particular auntie (you should know who you are), thanks for lending me a listening ear. I appreciate it alot. I will not give up easily, I won't let satan win. I'm still holding on to God no matter what and I know He will never let me go :D I trust that He will help me overcome this matter. Lets expect great growth from Him together. Thanks. I know you love me alot! haha

Service was great today. God really spoke to me in specific areas of my life, telling me what to do. Thank you God! To give thanks in all circumstances! hmm..i really want to be able to do that. *Constantly reminding myself* (I really have to grow in this few specific areas in my life and I really want to grow. God, help me help me help me help me help me!)

EAST FAMILY DAY after service. The bus trip there was horrible! I was so giddy all the way, headache, feel like vomitting and worse still, the surroundings were so noisy. HAHA. But the sports after that was so fun! Even though we had to play on wet floor, it was a great time fellowshipping! East rocks! Let's continue to have more fun and see more people joining us!

Many things have been going on, sometimes I don't even know what is happening to me. Feelings and thoughts just came crashing in my mind that I can't seem to stop it. Tears just continue to flow even though i tried to stop. How I wish I could just stop thinking.. At times, I even lost track of what's happening. I'm not a person who can express myself clearly because I don't even understand myself and my feelings.

However, I know that God understands me inside out. It just feels so great to be understood. He knows what You are going through and UNDERSTANDS everything. There is no need to explain. aww..so sweet..

(Dearest God, thanks for everything. Help me overcome all these, I want to grow. Guide me along. I will never forget the covenant I made with You on that night. I LOVE YOU! haha :D)

I don't know how long I can take it before I break down? It's tough, it's really very tough. Do you know that by the thought of what I have gone through and what I will be going through, I feel so tired. Even the thought of it makes me tired, how am I going to go through the rest. It's a looooonnnnnnnggggg fight.

It's not like any major exams (where you know the dateline), I don't know when it will end. I know for sure that the situation will not get better, i tried but...

HOWEVER....

I'm going to keep fighting! I don't want to give up and i'm not giving up. I know i'm not in control of my life because God is! No matter how tough it will be, i really hope I will keep fighting till the end. Despite all these, I know God is using this time to train me up. And He will always assure me of His presence & support :D God, help me!!

On a lighter note, MY EXAMS ARE REALLY AROUND THE CORNER! argh! The thing is that there are still a lot of stuff that i'm not sure of. HOW?!

Anyway, something from my qt last night. Specially posted for someone. lol
Our parents are given authority over us by God. God specially chose them to have the authority over us. Despite them being unreasonable at times or even (you know ur parents better than me), they still have the authority over you. We have to respect them. If you don't do so, you are going against God's word. Even if they are reqesting something not in line with God's word, reject in a polite way, try your best to not make the situation bad. I've to keep all these in mind! haha.

Have been thinking through the past few days, and the word COURAGE keep coming to me.

I think Christians are really the most courageous people around. To many, Christians are people who don't have problems. Who say so?! The truth is we faced A LOT of problems. In some sense, we are actually being 'force' to face many things in our life. People in the world tends to hide their dark side(characters, problems, feelings. etc), not willing to even face it. But God works in a different way. He 'force' us to face all these. He make us face our problems, not giving us any chances to hide it.

However, He does not stop there. After He force us to face it, He will guide us along, lead us, shower us with care, love and concern. He will assure us of His presence, send people to help us, use His word to assure us. He will do all sorts of things just to help us overcome our problems. Most importantly, He will never give us something we can't take it.

Then you will ask, Why do some fail to do so? Because they choose to give up, they choose not to have faith and believe. God will never never never give you up, don't be silly and choose to give up.

The moment you decide to invite Jesus in your life, you are courageous. Many don't dare to do so, they do not dare to face the changes in their life, they do not dare to accept the fact that they are sinners, they do not dare to face their family, they are afraid of many things.

Therefore, don't you agree that Christians are courageous people? Reason being...

Their courage is found in the Lord!
